The latest Tottenham injury news and possible return dates following a huge win over Brighton in the Premier League.

The late show struck once again for Tottenham, but this time it was in their favour as a stoppage time strike from Brennan Johnson secured all three points against Brighton. It came in a tough clash for Spurs, who needed to complete a stunning turnaround to earn all the points.

The Seagulls struck first through Pascal Gross, before Pape Matar Sarr responded just after the halfway mark. With both teams eyeing European qualification, it seemed as though a stalemate was on the cards.

That was until the returning Heung-Min Son found Johnson at the back post, who smashed the ball into the back of the net in injury time. Wild celebrations ensued as Ange Postecoglou‘s side created yet another late goal to win the match.

It moves the Lilywhites into the top four, albeit with teams around them holding an extra game over them at this stage. The position is theirs though, and with some returns on the injury front, things appear to be moving in the right direction.

With that said, here’s a look at the latest injury news following the dramatic victory over Brighton.

Tottenham injury list

Tottenham’s squad availability is starting to look much more positive, with plenty of returns boosting Postecoglou’s options. Heung-Min Son featured on the bench, with the manager confirming he didn’t start due to fatigue from international duty.

Yves Bissouma made an appearance as a substitute too, following his time at the Africa Cup of Nations. There was some concern for Destiny Udogie, due to his inability to play the full game against Brighton, but there is hope that he will be fine.

It leaves just three longer-term absentees around the squad, with Manor Solomon, Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon still doubts.

Destiny Udogie injury latest

Tottenham star Destiny Udogie became an injury concern when he was unable to play the full match against Brighton. Postecoglou eased concerns by suggesting there were no fresh injuries after the game, but revealed he was unsure if it was just cramp or something more serious.

The Australian coach told the press, via Football London: “Destiny went off but I’m not sure if it was cramp, but everyone else was OK as far as I know.”

Expected return: Wolves (H) – February 17.

Expected return: Wolves (H) – February 17.

Ryan Sessegnon injury latest

Tottenham full-back Ryan Sessegnon has struggled with injury this season. An issue with his hamstring kept him out through most of 2023, with a return against Burnley in the FA Cup being his only minutes this campaign.
