Ange Postecoglou has built a phenomenal side at Tottenham Hotspur during his short tenure at the club.
The likes of James Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie have transformed the first-team squad at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to cement themselves up there with the Premier League’s best once again.
Credit has to be given to Ange Postecoglou and his coaching staff – who have done a marvellous job since their summer arrival.
Their fabulous start has caused some of their star men’s values to skyrocket – including a player who is now Tottenham Hotspur‘s most valuable asset.

Dejan Kulusevski is Tottenham’s most expensive player
Dejan Kulusevski was initially signed on a loan deal from Juventus when Antonio Conte was manager before it was made permanent for £25 million by Postecoglou. It’s a decision that he hasn’t regretted, with Kulusesvki becoming one of the first names on the teamsheet.
The Swedish winger’s tenacious attitude and undeniable footballing ability have made him not just one of the best winger in the Premier League but in world football. This is now represented in his market value.
CIES Football Observatory presents the 100 players across the world with the ‘highest estimated transfer value’.
They have the 23-year-old priced at €100.4 million (£86.6 million). This means that his price tag has also more than tripled in as little as four months. An absolute bargain from Spurs.
Dejan Kulusevski worth more than Harry Kane
Despite Tottenham legend Harry Kane’s £100 million move to Bayern Munich and his outrageous start, it’s the Swedish winger who is valued more in the transfer market between the two.
Harry Kane is only valued at €95 million (£82.45 million), which is around £4 million less than Kulusevski. Age will play a huge factor in this, but it’s intriguing to see given Kane’s insane start to his time in the Bundesliga.
One thing is for certain – Kulusesvski is worth his weight in gold for Tottenham, and then some.
