Tottenham have revealed their new Nike away kit for the 2024/25 season, which has left some fans split on their opinion of the design.
It comes just weeks after Spurs revealed their new Nike home kit design for the upcoming Premier League season, which garnered some plaudits for the design.
There was some criticism of the price of the new Tottenham kit, with fans less than pleased over how much is being charged.
In the wake of that, the new away kit has been revealed, which includes a light blue colouration and different stripes across it.
A v-neck design for the collar is joined by sleeve cuffs that combine dark blue, white and gold, with that same dark blue joining the side of the kit.
Tottenham fans have flocked to social media to discuss the kit, which has received some mixed feedback so far.
Tottenham fans react to new Nike 24/25 away kit
There have been plenty of differing opinions on the new away kit design that Tottenham will wear away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the 2024/25 season.
Some fans love the design, with one supporter stating: “This is actually kinda nice I can’t lie.” while another added: “It’s a banger but people are hating cus of herd mentality.”
Other supporters were less than thrilled, as one Spurs fan said: “This is rubbish on so many levels.” Meanwhile another fan questioned the positioning of the crests, claiming: “Why’s the crest in the middle but the nike logo isn’t? Looks so awkward.”
The one thing fans were in agreement on was the price point that is being charged for the new kit.
A supporters shirt starts at £85, which for many is too much to pay for a design that is changing every year.
“You expect anyone to pay £85 for that,” one disgruntled Tottenham supporter commented in reply to the kit reveal.
Another fan, who liked the kit, agreed that the price was too much, stating: “Love the shirt, hate the price.”
Tottenham away kit Europa League detail
One interesting easter egg that fans may have spotted from the Tottenham away kit reveal video is tucked away right at the end.
On a TV, which includes details on the away kit and those who featured in the video, there is a line of text that reads: “Holiday special. Destination: Bilbao, Spain.”
This is a nod towards the Europa League final destination for the 2024/25 season, which Spurs are taking part in.
Ange Postecoglou will be hopeful that he can guide his team toward that final, with some silverware up for grabs.
