James Maddison and Mikey Moore took a rather unusual route to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of the Manchester City game and supporters can’t believe nobody noticed.
Spurs reached the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup as they defeated Pep Guardiola’s side 2-1 courtesy of goals from Timo Werner and Pape Matar Sarr.
Next up in the last eight of the competition is Manchester United at home where Ange Postecoglou’s team will be desperate to take another step closer to silverware.
Ahead of the win over the Premier League champions, Maddison has revealed the impressive undercover journey he and Moore took to make it to the stadium on time.

James Maddison and Mikey Moore walk to the stadium
Maddison has revealed that he and Moore had to walk the last mile to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the traffic down Tottenham High Road being so bad.
The pair got stuck in standstill traffic ahead of the game and had no other choice but to go undercover walking the rest of the journey alongside supporters.
Somehow, neither player was recognised by the club’s supporters outside the stadium and Maddison took to Instagram to make light of the situation.
He wrote: “Traffic was that bad, myself and @mikeymoore_10 had to walk the last mile as we got stuck in standstill traffic and weren’t moving.
“Actually loved walking past the pubs and on the streets to the ground with the fans. Reminded me of going to watch Coventry with my dad as a boy. No one had a clue did they, @mikeymoore_10?”
Tottenham supporters can’t believe nobody noticed
Tottenham supporters can’t believe that they weren’t recognised around the stadium and found the thought of other fans laughing at two blokes wearing full Spurs tracksuits to a game hilarious.
Moore was the only one who actually made it onto the pitch against City as he came on as a substitute whilst Maddison had to watch from the bench.
After Spurs’ vice captain uploaded their walk to the stadium to his Instagram story, Tottenham fans took to social media to make light of the situation.
One supporter said: “Bet someone thought to themselves, ‘Why are these two strange blokes wearing full training tracksuits to a game’…”
“Wow, Nostalgic! Madders and Mikey Moore walked to the game on Wednesday night through White Hart Lane and the High Road. Absolutely brilliant, what a throwback to the traditional days,” added another fan.
