Tottenham Hotspur return to action on Thursday night when they head to Bournemouth for their 8:15pm Premier League kick-off.

Spurs continue to blow hot and cold this season and will go into this game on the back of two draws.

Tottenham stunned the Premier League with their 4-0 hammering of Manchester City a fortnight ago, but they’ve since drawn against Roma and Fulham.

Now, Spurs will be up against a Cherries side that ran out 4-2 winners over Wolves last time out and have also shown they can win against the likes of Arsenal.

Ahead of the game, the Tottenham media team shared their matchday graphic, but it didn’t go down too well with some Spurs fans.

Tottenham fans not impressed by players on matchday graphic

Tottenham’s matchday graphic featured Timo Werner, Fraser Forster, Ben Davies and Pape Matar Sarr.

Of those, Sarr is the only Spurs player who’s a fairly regular starter. Forster and Davies are both back-up players, while Werner has been struggling this season.

Tottenham fans weren’t particularly impressed by the selection of players and made their feelings known on X.

Bournemouth v Tottenham team news

Bournemouth are set to welcome Antoine Semenyo back after the forward missed last weekend’s win at Wolves through suspension.

Midfielder Lewis Cook is struggling to overcome a muscle issue, while Julian Araujo, Alex Scott and Luis Sinisterra remain on the sidelines.

As for Tottenham, Dominic Solanke has returned to training after a brief illness and is likely to play some part against his former employers.

Archie Gray has got over a knock, but the Cherries clash is likely too soon for Cristian Romero, who has missed the past three matches with a toe injury.

Rodrigo Bentancur is still serving his domestic suspension while Wilson Odobert, Richarlison, Mickey van der Ven and Guglielmo Vicario are long-term absentees.
