Tottenham Hotspur fans have all been left saying the same thing about their U21s striker Will Lankshear on Sunday.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium saw a trophy lifted on the weekend as the Tottenham U21s got their hands on the Premier League 2 trophy.
A successful campaign for Wayne Burnett’s side saw them finish top of the table before then making their way through the play-offs to a final against Sunderland.
And despite a stern test from the Wearsiders in north London, Spurs prevailed to win the game 3-1 with Will Lankshear impressing immensely.
The young striker was able to get his name on the scoresheet twice in front of the crowd in N17 to provide Spurs with a 2-0 lead.
After a seriously impressive campaign with the U21s, Tottenham fans were all left saying the same thing after his display on Sunday.

Following the sale of Harry Kane, Spurs have relied on Heung-min Son and Richarlison to provide them with goals from the striker role.
It is a position which Ange Postecoglou is looking to upgrade over the summer with the likes of Ivan Toney believed to be on the club’s radar.
Tottenham have a much busier season ahead of them next term with Europa League football presenting at least eight additional games.
And that will mean Postecoglou will require a much deeper squad that can be rotated throughout the course of the campaign.

Lankshear’s display on Sunday was exactly what he has shown throughout the 2023/24 season having fired the U21s to the trophy.
And it is apparent Spurs fans have been left impressed with what they’ve seen as they took to social media to hail the youngster. One fan was left saying, ‘We gotta get this lad a really good loan, high end championship or him in the first team.’
Whilst another fan added, ‘Get him on the first team asap’. One fan kept it simple, hailing the striker’s second goal by saying, ‘He’s so good’.
Spurs fans have been here before, but one fan even said, ‘Need to get him in the squad next year, looks like the next Kane’.
Another fan had a very simple message for Postecoglou, they said, ‘Get him in the first team. COYS’. Whilst another fan also had a similar message, adding, ‘He needs to be in the first team!’
Should Will Lankshear be given an opportunity next season?
This is not the first time that young Tottenham strikers have impressed at the U21s level and looked like they are ready to make the step up to the first team.
Dane Scarlett and Troy Parrott are both examples of just this and neither have really been able to find their feet in English football in the year following.
With this in mind, Spurs need to handle Lankshear’s development carefully next season on the back of his impressive displays.

If Tottenham are to send him out on loan to gain some experience in the men’s game then it has to be carefully selected as Scarlett has experienced the struggles of being loaned out in recent years.
A spot could open up for him in the Spurs side depending on whether a new striker is brought in next season, but Postecoglou is yet to use him which does make this seem unlikely.
