Conor Gallagher to Tottenham transfer

Tottenham are preparing a potential summer move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, according to recent reports. Spurs have been heavily linked with a deal for the England international over the past two transfer windows.

That hasn’t quite come to fruition yet, though his dwindling contract at Stamford Bridge could open up the possibility in the months ahead. According to The Telegraph, Tottenham are readying their move, though Newcastle are also exploring the possibility.

It remains to be seen exactly what the future holds for Gallagher, but the interest from Spurs continues into the upcoming transfer market.

Alejo Veliz on Erik Lamela welcome

Tottenham’s past and future have collided at Sevilla this season as Alejo Veliz joined up with Erik Lamela on his loan spell with the Spanish club. The young Spurs striker has looked to gain valuable first-team experience for the second half of the campaign.

There will be hope that he can do that with Sevilla, while under the wing of former forward Lamela. Speaking about how he was able to quickly settle in to another new country, Veliz said, via Football London: “Luckily I had a very quick adaptation with the boys, especially with the Argentines.

“I am feeling very comfortable and very happy with this step. With Lamela we have already established a very nice bond, he invited me to his house and we had a great chat. I’m very happy with everything.”
