And the Australian’s effect is showing as Spurs find themselves alongside the reigning Premier League and European champions in an attacking-based statistic.
Postecoglou’s Tottenham on the front foot
Years of dismal football under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte are now just something of a distant memory following the arrival of our Australian manager.
Under ‘Big Ange’ we have seen a front-foot style of football on display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which has certainly helped improve results.
Undoubtedly, we may not be as tight as the back as we have been in recent years, but the goals are flowing in north London.

What is perhaps even more impressive about that stat is how we have done so with so many absences throughout the campaign.
Injuries to the likes of James Maddison were huge blows to Postecoglou’s selection choices and the recent omission of Heung-min Son to the Asian Cup.
Perhaps this only emphasises the impact Postecoglou has had on this Spurs side in getting the best out of the players across the squad.
Coming out of a difficult period with injuries riddling the squad, we are still well within the race for a top four finish.
And going forward, Postecoglou has virtually all of his players to select from with the second half of the campaign well underway.
