Tottenham Hotspur winger Timo Werner has been impressed by Ange Postecoglou since arriving at the club.
Spurs are searching for a spot in next season’s Champions League and are doing so with the help of their German forward.
Ange Postecoglou brought Timo Werner in from RB Leizpig on loan in January and it seems the Australian’s already made an impression.

Werner impressed by Postecoglou
Werner has already made seven appearances in the Premier League for Spurs and he is clearly beginning to settle back in to life in England.
The German, of course, spent a number of years in west London with Chelsea where he had a mixed time to say the least.
His time at Stamford Bridge came to an end in 2022, but having returned to RB Leipzig, they allowed him to join Spurs after just over a year back in his homeland.
Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, the 28-year-old revealed he’s been left massively impressed by Postecoglou.
He said: “He’s so calm and relaxed. His speech before games are very good, also how his idea of football is always forward, always wants to score goals, he wants to see good football. That’s very impressive because not a lot of managers are like this.”

Timo Werner’s Tottenham future
The 28-year-old did only join on an initial short-term loan deal from the Bundesliga side.
It has now been revealed that Spurs have until 14 June to activate the permanent clause in his contract.
A permanent move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would see Spurs need to part with just £15m for the experienced forward.
Although it took Werner a number of games to find the back of the net, his return of two goals and two assists can’t be sniffed at in the league.
Unfortunately for him, Brennan Johnson is also is stunning form currently, so it will be interesting to see who starts on Saturday.
The Lilywhites travel to Craven Cottage on the weekend, but it is hard to imagine Postecoglou wanting to make any changes after their 4-0 win against Aston Villa.
It could, therefore, be another start from the bench for Werner, if his opportunity does arrive, another goal off the bench won’t do his chances of a permanent stay any harm at all.
