Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up for their Europa League clash against Galatasaray on Thursday evening.
Ange Postecoglou’s charges have impressed in European competition this term, picking up three wins in a row.
However, Spurs now face their biggest test so far, taking on the champions of Turkey at the intimidating Ali Sami Yen Stadium.
Tottenham are currently without several players due to injury, so there’s a good chance that their squad will include a number of academy stars.
Indeed, five Spurs youngsters have been spotted getting on the plane to Istanbul, as per a video shared on the club’s X account.
Who are the five Tottenham youngsters travelling to Galatasaray?
The five youngsters travelling along with the Tottenham first-team are Will Lankshear, Alfie Dorrington, Dante Cassanova, Callum Olusesi and Luca Williams-Barnett.
Meanwhile, Spurs Under-18s star Tynan Thompson was spotted in first-team training at Hotspur Way, but there was no sighting of him boarding the plane.
Lankshear is the most high-profile of the five, as he featured prominently in pre-season and played in the Europa League win over Ferencvaros.
Tottenham expert Alasdair Gold compared the 19-year-old to Harry Kane on the Gold & Guest podcast earlier this year.
“He’s a very talented young player, he’s got a long way to go, but he’s got a little bit of the Kane physique about him,” said Gold.
Meanwhile, Dorrington is a 19-year-old centre-back who has been in and around the first-team picture at Tottenham over the past 12 months.
He was on the sidelines due to injury earlier this season but returned to action in late September, with four outings in youth competition this term.
Cassanova is a 20-year-old centre-back who has clocked up 10 appearances in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy this term.
Olusesi and Williams-Barnett are both in the Under-18s. The former is a 17-year-old midfielder and the latter is a 16-year-old playmaker.

Can all five play against Galatasaray?
Lankshear, Dorrington and Cassanova are already part of Tottenham’s squad for Europe following their inclusion on the B list.
However, Olusesi and Williams-Barnett will need to be registered by the club the day before the game.
The duo, as well as any other academy stars travelling to Turkey who are not already on the list, must be registered no later than 12am CET / 11pm GMT the day before the match.
In order to be added to the B list, club-trained players must have been born on or after January 1, 2003 and spent an uninterrupted period of a minimum of two years with their club to be eligible.
Europa League participants are allowed to register an unlimited amount of players on the B list during the campaign.
