Harry Kane jokes with Carragher
It has been a few weeks which the Bayern Munich team will want to put behind them swiftly.
A number of poor results in the Bundesliga has seen Bayer Leverkusen open up a 10 point gap at the top of the table.
This has meant the Champions League has opened up as perhaps their most likely source of silverware this season.
Speaking after the game, Kane spoke to CBS Sport and denied claims that Carragher had spoken to him prior to the game. Kane said: “Erm, that is false.”
The answer saw the likes of Thierry Henry and Micah Richards burst out laughing, before Kane added: We are friends but I’m not going to lie on national TV… We exchange messages on Twitter, you know. Twitter friends.”

How many goals has Harry Kane scored
Although it has not been the season Bayern will have hoped for in the league, that has not come through Kane’s lack of goals.
It was a season to forget for Spurs last season, but Kane was still able to net a staggering 30 goals in the Premier League.
And he is well on his way to equalling that in the Bundesliga this season with 27 to his name in just 24 league games.
Across all competitions, he has provided a sensational 33 goals and eight assists in just 33 games.
He did blank in the important game against Leverkusen last month, but Bayern were blown away that day.
Kane made the move to Munich with trophies, undoubtedly, on his mind.
Perhaps they are now going to have to focus solely on the Champions League with the Bundesliga title some way away now.
