The Tottenham midfielder came off the bench to help Sweden extend their lead and boost their goal difference by assisting the fifth goal.
Following the impressive win in Monterrey, the local media in Sweden have been rating the team’s performance and were very impressed by Bergvall.

The Swedish media were very impressed by the performance of Tottenham Hotspur star Lucas Bergvall against Tunisia.
The 20-year-old was introduced after 65 minutes in Monterrey, and the youngster was quick to make an impact, as the Swedes extended their lead from one to four.
The Spurs midfielder completed three passes, 14 touches, four carries, one shot at goal and won one duel against Tunisia.
In the 96th minute, the youngster set up Brighton’s Yasin Ayari to make it 5-1 and secure an emphatic win for the European nation.

After the match, the Swedish media sang the praises of Bergvall and the impact he managed to have off the bench for Potter’s side.
- SvenskaFans gave him a 3/5: “Sweden’s youngest World Cup player of all time. Went straight in and hit a beautiful cross. Has great energy.
“Has great self-confidence, wanted to push the ball forward and plays very maturely. Shot over the goal at the end of a magical chance.” - Fotboll Skanlen also gave him a 3/5 rating: “Jumped in with energy and determination. Broke the ball, which allowed Yasin Ayari to score to make it 5-1.”
Roberto De Zerbi is a big fan of Bergvall, and there is hope that the 20-year-old can finally kick on next season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He had limited minutes last term, but with the team hopefully being more settled, Bergvall should be able to feature more for Spurs.
