After a clumsy challenge was put in during a rondo, it was apparent Richarlison was left furious that an injury could have been sustained during the light training exercise.

Even West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta looked visibly shocked by the challenge put in.

As Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior went to calm Richarlison down, it was apparent the Spurs man wasn’t having any of it as he continuously attempted to push the Madrid winger away.

What Dejan Kulusevski has recently admitted about Richarlison

It has been a strange season for the Brazilian having come into the Ange Postecoglou’s plans on the back of a one-goal campaign.

Another slow start in a Spurs shirt saw the Brazilian undergo groin surgery to clean up some issues he was having.

And ever since, the 26-year-old was in stunning form having netted nine times in his 10 games prior to his latest injury.

Speaking about the Tottenham striker, Dejan Kulusevski has recently suggested he has been left impressed by Richarlison’s heading ability.

Speaking from Hotspur Way, the Swede said: “Play to players’ strengths. Richy is unbelievable with the head and he loves those goals. So as soon as I get this ball I try to find a little bit of space so I can put the cross in. You see Richy’s movement is also really good.”

With the international break looming, Richarlison sustained a knee issue which kept him out for a number of weeks.

He was still selected for the Brazil squad with the national side’s doctor giving a positive assessment of his issue.

It will be interesting to see how many minutes Richarlison racks up for Brazil over the next few days.

And it will be very interesting to see whether he may return straight back into the starting XI after Spurs’ dismal trip to Craven Cottage.
