Tottenham Hotspur are now expected to be without Manor Solomon for Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace.

Ange Postecoglou’s men return to Premier League action on the weekend with a game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, they may now have to go into the game without Manor Solomon after early optimism over a possible return.

Manor Solomon injury update

Reports earlier in the week suggested Spurs could see the Israeli winger make a return to training this week.

Solomon was even spotted in a video from Hotspur Way on Wednesday – although it was just upon his arrival.

However, speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold has revealed the 24-year-old is yet to return to full training.

Gold said: ‘Manor Solomon, still not back in training yet. There is a hope it could be this week. The thing with Manor Solomon is a little bit like it was with Ryan Sessegnon in that you’ve just got to be so careful. he’s been out since September with his knee injury and you’ve just got to make sure he doesn’t come back too soon.’

‘Now, they just want to make sure he’s 100% comfortable coming back and get him back at the right time. Hopefully it’ll be this week. You’d imagine we’re at the point where it’s too late to really have any involvement in the Palace game, you’d think.’

Tottenham injury news

The game on the weekend against the Eagles will be Tottenham’s first game for two weeks since their defeat against Wolves.

This has allowed Postecoglou’s men extra time to recover with their game against Chelsea postponed.

One of the players who is now expected to return to the fold on the weekend is Destiny Udogie.

The Italian left-back missed the Wolves defeat through injury but has since return to training with the rest of the squad.

However, there has been no sign of Pedro Porro in the pictures to emerge from training at Hotspur Way.

The Spaniard was also spotted in the entrance video from Hotspur Way, but it seems as if he is not quite ready to return to the field.

Postecoglou will provide all the updates on Friday, but it seems he will be without the winger who Marco Silva called ‘quality‘ last season.
