Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin was the latest player to fall victim of Aston Villa’s Matty Cash on Sunday.
Ange Postecoglou was reduced of his first-choice centre-back in Micky van de Ven through injury at Villa Park.
And the Dutchman’s replacement, Radu Dragusin, also suffered some pain as a result of the Aston Villa right-back.

The Romanian centre-back came on just after half-time after Van de Ven went down with his hamstring issue.
Dragusin was seen warming up intensely at half-time which was a big indication that something was not quite right with one of the two centre-backs.
He played almost a full half of football, but it was not all smooth sailing for the 22-year-old as he was involved in a panful moment with Cash.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold has claimed a blocked cross caused the centre-back some serious pain. He said: “Matty Cash, again had a victim that was Radu Dragusin with a very powerful cross that hit poor Radu in the bad place – the place that no man ever wants a block a cross with. And it it was a powerful hit of a cross.
“It was the first time I’ve been in the stadium when they played the replay on the four screens that Villa have got a Villa Park on each corner of the ground and I don’t think I’ve ever been in a ground where collectively it’s 45/50,000 people in there, all the men in the crowd went, [painful grown]. Like an ‘ooo’ kind of noise. Ouch.”
Revenge served to Matty Cash
Going into the game on Sunday, there was a lot of talk about the previous games which had seen a number of Spurs players injured by the Polish defender.
And this naturally saw Cristian Romero’s name thrown into the ring as a player who could potentially give Cash some back during the game.
But Spurs went about it in the best way possible as they let their football do the talking.
It was undoubtedly the best form of revenge Spurs could have unleashed on the 26-year-old with an emphatic victory over Villa.
Rodrigo Bentancur did, however, land a small blow on the right-back after he was sidelined through the Villa man last year.
It was not a foul which was ever going to cause Cash an injury, but it was enough just to remind him of what happened and potentially to rub in the scoreline with seconds remaining.
A lot of football is left to be played in the race for the top four, but there is no doubt that Spurs deal Villa a real sucker punch.
