Mikey Moore has made a remarkable rise over the past 12 months having gone from Under-18s football to now playing alongside his childhood idols in the Tottenham first team.
Moore has already made starts in both the Europa League and Premier League as Ange Postecoglou continues to hand the youngster opportunities.
The winger is set to miss Tottenham’s clash with Ipswich Town on Sunday afternoon as he struggles with a virus that also saw him miss the game against Galatasaray.
Postecoglou’s team are still fighting in four competitions this season and Moore is desperate to help end the North London club’s wait for a trophy.

Mikey Moore wants to help win Heung-min Son a trophy
Moore has revealed that he really wants to help Heung-min Son win silverware at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The South Korean is yet to win a trophy during his ten-year spell at the club.
The winger looks to be entering the final stages of his career at Spurs given his contract situation. Spurs have the option to extend his contract by an additional year with his deal currently due to expire in the summer.
The Spurs News reported earlier this week that no new talks are planned between Tottenham and Son over a new long-term contract with the North London club now well-equipped for a future without him.
Tottenham will now need to make the most of him in potentially his final two seasons in N17 and Moore is keen to give him a fitting send-off.
The 17-year-old told the Tottenham Hotspur programme: “He is a fantastic guy and everyone wants a piece of his time. I am full of admiration for how down to earth he is and how well he treats people.
“What a great servant he has been to this Club and let’s hope we can win that trophy as a club that Sonny so deserves as an individual. As a player, he’s incredible. Fast, dynamic, he scores goals, makes goals and he gives everything. He embodies the Spurs way.”
Moore reveals his two Tottenham mentors
Moore has also revealed that James Maddison and Sonny have become his mentors at Tottenham, with the duo helping him to improve as both a player and a person.
Moore added: “All the players have welcomed me. You have to gain their respect first, it’s an environment where there is a lot on the line so you have to earn that, but all the boys have been really good.
“Sonny is helping me all the time and Madders as well, they’re helping me as a player but also off the pitch with keeping grounded and respectful towards everyone.”
Tottenham will be hoping that over the next two seasons, Moore can be the player to take Son’s place as Spurs’ key man as he continues to establish himself in the first-team.
