Tyrese Hall steals the show for Tottenham

One player who clearly impressed the fans on Tuesday night was the 18-year-old midfielder, Tyrese Hall.

The youngster has played a huge role in the success of the youth sides this season where he has been able to provide a return of five goals and five assists.

Two of those assists even came at U21 level when Hall played in the Premier League 2 against Aston Villa last month.

In the wake of the game on Tuesday, Hall posted on his X account and it is fair to say Spurs fans are showing the love for the young prospect:

Tyrese Hall wanted by Manchester City

The hype surrounding the youngster is not contained within north London, however, with Manchester City said to be monitoring his progress.

According to a report out of Football Transfers, the reigning Premier League champions have earmarked Hall as a player to watch.

It is believed City had scouts at the U21 game which Hall played in against Aston Villa so there may be some concerns surrounding his future.

Ange Postecoglou has not shied away from offering young players some minutes in the first team this season with the likes of Jamie Donely being handed his debut.

Perhaps the Australian may be taking a look at Hall in the months to come with the storm he is cooking up down at youth level.

It seems he has cracked it at U18 level, so perhaps it is time for him to make the move up a level before he could then be knocking on the door of Postecoglou’s side.
