Possible Tottenham transfer target Kalvin Phillips gave an interesting answer when asked about his future following England’s win over Italy last night.
Recent reports from Football Transfers suggested that England international Kalvin Phillips was a target for Tottenham.
Ange Postecoglou is a fan of the defensive midfielder and believes that he can definitely be a good fit for the North London club.
Now, he has provided somewhat of an answer on whether he could leave current club Manchester City, and Spurs fans will be intrigued to hear what he said.

Tottenham target Kalvin Phillips speaks on his future
Phillips is no doubt a solid Premier League defensive midfielder and should he leave Manchester City he would have multiple options.
Speaking to Channel 4 after the England game, in which he started, Philliips was asked about his future. He said: “As a football player, you always want to be playing… and so that’s the case with me. I want minutes and obviously, I haven’t done that over the last year and a half, so that’s one thing I want to do. Let’s see what happens”.
This is no doubt quite an intriguing response because he knows he needs more minutes to keep his England spot for the tournament next summer.
Despite being highly-rated and also called ‘phenomenal‘ by former Spurs player Kieran Trippier, Phillips has only managed 70 minutes in the Premier League this season.

These comments would have definitely alerted Tottenham as they are interested in signing him and it sounds like he would be happy with leaving his current club.
Phillips, who is 27, managed to win the treble with Manchester City last season and will now want to prove that he can consistently be playing at a very high level.
