Tottenham Hotspur legend Ledley King has admitted there was one former Spurs player who goes seriously under the radar by fans.
The former Tottenham defender has played with some of the Premier League greats during his time playing worked with even more since retiring.
However, there is one player who he feels people do not appreciate how good he was having played 75 times for Tottenham.

What Ledley King said about Michael Carrick
Michael Carrick joined Tottenham in 2004 from West Ham United, but it did not take him much time to attract an even bigger move.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United came calling and that was a time when players were unable to turn down the lure of Old Trafford.
Carrick was only able to rack up 75 appearances for Spurs before leaving for Manchester in a deal which is believed to be worth around £18m.
Speaking on the Five YouTube channel, Ledley King has said he feels Carrick is one of the best players he ever played alongside and is massively underrated.
He said: “It’s like Carrick. People don’t realise how good he was. Balance, you know I mean, I love balanced players. I love that type of player and I spent 18 months with him he was he was a top, top player as well.”

How the media questioned Manchester United’s signing of Carrick
Just as King hinted at, back in 2006 when Carrick made the move to Old Trafford, it was met with a lot of scepticism by the media.
This is a midfielder who went on to win everything there was in club football with. a staggering 16 major honours to his name by the time he hung his boots up.
And as if that wasn’t enough, he racked up a whopping 464 appearances in a Manchester United side which dominated the Premier League.
At the time, £18m was a significant amount of money for a player and it was apparent that there were many questioning whether United had paid too much.
Mark Longden of the Independent Manchester United Supporters’ Association told BBC Sport: “I cannot understand what is going on.
“I have not spoken to anybody who, when £18.6m became available, would have spent that on Michael Carrick.
“But people have questioned Sir Alex Ferguson’s judgment in the past and finished up with egg on their face and I hope it happens again.”
Of course, it is easy to look back on it now and judge just how wrong some people were about Carrick.
But it is clear to see that the likes of King who played alongside him were in awe of just how good he was.
His football IQ has even taken him beyond playing as he now attempts to gain promotion back to the Premier League with Middlesbrough.
