Fill in the blank: Tottenham should _____ Igor Tudor after losing 5-2 to Atletico Madrid…
Walker will continue playing for Burnley in the short term, but his England career has ended on 96 caps for the man who helped the Three Lions reach two European Championship finals.
After his retirement, Walker was quizzed on the quality of players coming through in his position for England, with a Tottenham man earning a mention.

Kyle Walker praises Tottenham star Djed Spence
The versatile full-back has kicked on at Tottenham over the last 18 months, and Walker is of the opinion that he might be able to replace him on the international stage.
He told The Overlap: ” I think it’d be unfair for me to say Reece James completely. Because Trent has been to a couple of tournaments now and has been pushing me all the way.
“And I think the other, you know, Djed Spence and Tino Livramento have been incredible. I think there’s enough cover there for sure.”
Spence has made 76 appearances for Tottenham since arriving from Middlesbrough, and he will hope to continue playing well in order to make the World Cup squad this summer.
Tottenham face fight to keep Spence
It’s been claimed that Juventus are keen on Spence this summer, and there is no chance he stays with Tottenham if they drop into the Championship.
Spence has showcased the ability to play at right-back and left-back since arriving at Tottenham, and that could come in handy to any club pursuing him.
Given that Walker is one of the best full-backs to have played in the Premier League, it’s quite an appraisal for Spence to come in for some praise.
Now, he will hope to back that up with some fine performances to get Tottenham over the line and keep them in the Premier League this season.
