Former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker has aimed a hilarious dig at Arsenal fans after last night’s result.
Manchester City arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium knowing three points were needed to decide their own title fate.
Tottenham certainly gave the champions-elect a good run for their money with the first half seeing Spurs keep just their third clean sheet in the first 45 minutes this year.
However, Ange Postecoglou‘s side did come undone in the second half with Erling Haaland grabbing a brace.
The result could now see Walker get his hands on his sixth Premier League medal and he was able to sneak in a cheeky dig at the Arsenal fans after the game.
City now sit top of the table going into the final day of the season on the weekend where three points would secure them the title regardless of results elsewhere.

What Kyle Walker said about Arsenal fans after victory over Tottenham
Tottenham now only have to play for their fifth spot on the weekend and even that could be confirmed prior to the trip to Bramall Lane.
Newcastle United travel to Manchester United on Wednesday night and anything less than three points for the Magpies would seal Tottenham’s fifth spot.
It has been a season which has marked progress under Postecoglou with the Australian returning Spurs to European football.
However, it is also a season of what could have been with injuries and poor form in recent weeks surely costing Spurs a top-four finish.

Another team which may now see this season as one of a missed opportunity is Tottenham’s north London rivals.
The Gunners have endured a tense title fight with City and some fans thought they’d disrupted the City squad on Monday night by setting off fireworks outside of the alleged team hotel.
However, Walker took no time in aiming a dig at their fans last night on Sky Sports after the game on Tuesday.
“These are the games you want to play in as a footballer. The feeling I have got on the pitch there, when we score for 2-0, you don’t experience that too often,” he said.
“It’s not the fact that’s Premier League done, finished. It’s the emotion. Last night I couldn’t sleep. Then you got into the hotel today, I’ve heard they have tried to set fireworks off. They have missed us. But it’s little things when you are trying to scramble off for an hour in the afternoon just to get my head down.”
Ange Postecoglou shares his thoughts on Arsenal rivalry
Walker was not the only one to speak out after the game, the Spurs boss was perhaps the most angry he has been since joining the club.
It was apparent there was a number of Tottenham fans who were keen to see their own side lose the game last night due to the implications elsewhere.
And it would be fair to say Postecoglou was not interested in hearing any more about the rivalry between the two sides after losing for the fifth time in six games.
“I’m just not interested mate. Maybe I’m out of step, but I just don’t care, I just want to win,” he said.
“I want to be successful at this football club, it’s why I was brought in. So what other people, how they want to feel, and what their priorities are, are of zero interest to me.”
