Football legends Kaka and Didier Drogba have both been sharing their admiration for Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-min Son.
Both former players were involved in the Nexon Icon Match in Son’s home country of South Korea and were asked about the nation’s poster boy.
The 32-year-old is still going strong at Tottenham Hotspur as he enters his tenth season at the North London club, although injuries have so far hampered his campaign.
Now as club captain, the winger will be desperate to end Spurs’ wait for silverware and become the first captain since Ledley King to lift a trophy in Lilywhite.

Kaka explains why he loves Heung-min Son and credits Tottenham
Brazilian icon Kaka has revealed his love for Son and has been discussing why he is such a big fan of the Tottenham captain.
The former AC Milan star has admitted that Sonny has a great personality and he is a big fan of the forward’s style of play.
Speaking to EA Sports FC Korea, Kaka said: “I love him, because of his technique. I’ve never met him but it seems like he is a nice guy, he seems happy, he’s enjoying being on the pitch and has a great relationship with the supporters.”
The 2007 Ballon d’Or winner also paid compliment to Spurs as he admitted how he impressed he was by the South Korean star’s longevity at such a “big club like Tottenham”.
“When you have the opportunity to be at a big club like Tottenham for many years, that is something really special. It’s not easy to be on the same team for a long period and keep doing good. So I love him,” Kaka added.
Didier Drogba is also a big Heung-min Son fan
Didier Drogba also admitted that despite his links to Tottenham, he is a big fan of Son who has become a great leader for both club and country.
Drogba said: “I think the only problem with him is that he’s playing for Tottenham. But apart from that, he’s a great player, he’s become a great leader for the national team and Tottenham.
“It’s good to see him play the way he does because he’s so genuine, like the way he carries himself on the pitch – I like it.”
