Tottenham Hotspur technical sporting Johan Lange has admitted he has been impressed with what he has seen from Radu Dragusin already.
The Romanian centre-back made the move to London in the recent January transfer window as Spurs bolstered Ange Postecoglou’s defensive options.
And despite his minutes being limited, it is apparent those at Spurs are already impressed with what they have seen from their £26.7m addition.

Radu Dragusin impressing at Tottenham
Having only signed just last month, Dragusin is yet to earn a start under his new manager but this is a player who had received a lot of interest.
We were able to beat Bayern Munich to the signature of the defender after they tried to make a late move for the 22-year-old.
Speaking to the club’s media following the conclusion of the winter market, Lange has revealed what he has seen in the Romanian: “We have seen Radu being very strong defensively for Genoa over a long period. He has the speed, he’s very strong one-vs-one.
“But he has just turned 22, he’s still a very young player with a lot of growth for the future. Again, he has settled in well to the club, but there is much more to come for him in the years to come.”
Real depth at centre-back
Despite having only kept one clean sheet in our last 14 league games, the options at centre-back have to excite fans for the years to come.
Micky van de Ven’s pace has been well documented over the last few days with the Dutchman becoming the quickest player record in Premier League history.
And Cristian Romero has received high praise from the player many would consider the greatest ever, Lionel Messi: “Cuti [Romero]’s appearance was extraordinary for us, for the future of the team and for that moment,” Messi said on the Netflix documentary Sean Eternos: Campeones de America.
Now, it seems Postecoglou has another star to choose from with the 22-year-old exciting those behind the scenes at Hotspur Way.
Unfortunately, it seems as if it is only injury which could bring a halt to the Romero-Van de Ven partnership, but if required, it seems there is a lot of confidence that Dragusin can be a strong alternative.
