Jamie O’Hara believes Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma is looking like a £100 million player now.

O’Hara has been speaking on talkSPORT and claimed that Bissouma has completely turned his fortunes around at Spurs.

Bissouma arrived at Tottenham last summer as he made the £25 million switch from Brighton.

The 26-year-old endured a miserable debut campaign at Spurs as he struggled to force his way into Antonio Conte’s side.

And while O’Hara believes Bissouma was ‘absolutely awful’ last season, he has labelled the Mali international a £100 million player now.

O’Hara says Bissouma is a £100m player now

Speaking on talkSPORT, O’Hara lauded Bissouma for his recent form under Ange Postecoglou and made a huge claim about his current value.

He said: “All of a sudden I look at the side now and think, ‘You know what, we’ve got that kind of team back again’.

“[Destiny] Udogie, [Pedro] Porro, [Micky] Van de Ven, James Maddison, you’ve got a side all of a sudden.

“[Yves] Bissouma, everyone wrote Bissouma off. Last season, he was absolutely awful.

“I watched him a couple of times last season and he looked like he had forgotten how to play football.

“Like honestly, it was so bad, it was like watching Gabby [Agbonlahor] playing in midfield.

“And now it’s turned, Bissouma looks brilliant. He looks like a £100m player.”

Bissouma has excelled under Postecoglou’s guidance and looks like the player Tottenham snapped up from Brighton once again.

The midfielder will miss tonight’s clash against Fulham after picking up a needless red card against Luton last time out.

It will be intriguing to see how Spurs cope without Bissouma in the middle of the park as he has been key to their success this season.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg looks set to take his place in the side after some promising displays off the bench in recent weeks.
