Tottenham Hotspur star James Maddison has sent a message to both Harry Kane and Eric Dier after the latter made his full Bayern Munich debut yesterday.

Eric Dier played the full 90 minutes as Bayern picked up a much-needed win at FC Augsburg on Saturday.

The 30-year-old was handed his debut earlier this week after replacing the injured Dayot Upamecano in the 1-0 victory over Union Berlin.

Dier’s move to Munich came as a surprise to many, with the Bundesliga giants switching their focus to the Englishman after missing out on Radu Dragusin

Of course, he’s also linked up with a familiar face in Harry Kane, who made the switch to Munich over the summer.

And James Maddison has sent a message to the former Spurs duo on Instagram following Dier’s full debut in Germany yesterday.

Kane took to Instagram after yesterday’s win and posted a picture of himself alongside Dier.

The former Spurs man wrote: “A top away win and Eric Dier’s full debut.”

This led to a couple of former Tottenham stars commenting, with the likes of Dele Alli and Michel Vorm both leaving comments beneath the post.

And Maddison also congratulated his former teammates by responding with a couple of round of applause emojis.

Dier is technically on loan at Bayern until the end of the campaign. But with his Spurs deal set to expire in the summer, his time at Tottenham has officially ended.

The Englishman endured a difficult past 18 months in north London after a dip in form and falling out of favour under Ange Postecoglou.

But he’s quickly been handed an opportunity to impress at Bayern following Upamecano’s injury.

We at The Spurs News wish Dier all the best for the future, alongside our all-time top goalscorer Kane.
