Tottenham Hotspur completed their fourth summer arrival as they signed Wilson Odobert from Burnley.
The 19-year-old arrived at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with 33 Premier League appearances under his belt having heavily featured for the Clarets last season.
The winger’s explosive dribbling ability and incredible balling striking caught the eye of Johan Lange and his recruitment team at Tottenham.
Spurs shelled out around £25 million to land the young Frenchman who netted five times in the league last campaign and also in Burnley’s Championship opener against Luton.
Now, Tottenham supporters have been told what they can expect from their new signing as looks to leave his mark in North London.

Burnley fans give verdict on Wilson Odobert for Tottenham
The Spurs News spoke exclusively to the Burnley podcast TurfCast to find out more about Odobert – here’s what they had to say about the Frenchman.
What position does Wilson Odobert play?
“He can play on either wing and that’s where he started life at Burnley but he was swiftly moved into the 10 role which suited him a lot better.”
What are Wilson Odobert’s best attributes?
Tottenham’s squad was in need of a new winger this summer and in the former PSG youth star, they appear to have signed a very talented one.
“Always feel it’s unfair to label players as it just puts pressure on them but what I will say is he’s a versatile, young forward who would be comfortable anywhere across the front line,” TurfCast told the site when asked about his best player comparison.
“His calmness under pressure and his ability to get the ball on the half turn and take the ball forward. He’s got great feet too and wants to be involved in the game – doesn’t shy away especially when in the 10.”
What is Wilson Odobert’s potential?
Odobert has appeared for the French national team from U16 to U23 level and Turfcast expects the wide man to eventually play for the senior team.
“It’s huge. He’s so young and has the right mentality and already has a season of Premier League football under him. I genuinely expect to see him in a French major tournament team one day,” TurfCast told us.
Is Wilson Odobert ready to play for Tottenham?
At 19, Odobert still has plenty of developing to do before he can make an impact on Ange Postecoglou’s team.
TurfCast said: “For where you are and what you want to be he’s probably one for in a year or two – maybe give him the cup games and early Europa League games this season to help his development.”
