Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski has now revealed what really went on when he met Lucas Bergvall in north London.
We made three signings in the January transfer window, Timo Werner, Radu Dragusin and Bergvall, but we will not get to see the latter until next season.
The young Swede has since returned to his homeland to complete the season with Djurgardens before making the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kulusevski met with Bergvall
Since the 18-year-old’s signing in north London, it has been said that he met with Dejan Kulusevski at Hotspur Way.
However, the 23-year-old winger has since claimed he was never intent on telling Bergvall to join Tottenham as he knew the midfielder had other options.
Kulusevski wanted Bergvall to make the decision himself with the youngster having strong interest coming from Barcelona.
Speaking to The US Sun, Kulusevski said: “I met him and it was nice to see him because I know him a bit. I told him the truth, the same as what I tell everyone. How good this club is and the plans for the future.
“I didn’t want to tell him which club to join because that is hard, but it is the first time I’ve played with a Swedish player.”

Postecoglou’s project
It was quite the January window for beating some of Europe’s biggest teams to players for Spurs.
Bergvall was not the only player who rejected other offers to land at Hotspur Way, Radu Dragusin is also believed to have snubbed both Bayern Munich and Napoli in favour of Spurs.
And perhaps this goes to show just what Ange Postecoglou has done in such a short space of time to turnaround the wrongs done under recent managers.
Looking back at the dismal defeat against Newcastle United last season, it would have been unimaginable to find ourselves in the position we are now.
Champions League football could return to N17 next season and there is real cause for optimism ahead of the future with some real young talents in the squad.
