Thierry Henry has shared what Harry Kane once told him at Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground.
Harry Kane undoubtedly became one of the best strikers in world football during his time at Tottenham.
The Englishman netted a staggering total of 280 goals for Spurs in all competitions, making him the club’s all-time top goalscorer.
But while scoring goals came naturally to Kane, one area of his game that was certainly perfected during his years in north London was his playmaking abilities.
We witnessed the 30-year-old come into his own in that regard under Jose Mourinho, with him and Heung-min Son linking up to devastating effect.
Now, Thierry Henry has claimed that Kane told him he wanted to work on this side of his game during a chat at Tottenham’s training ground.

Henry shares what Kane once told him at Hotspur Way
Speaking on Sky Sports last night, Henry discussed Kane’s willingness to work on his creativity.
“When I went to see Harry Kane at the Spurs training ground I said do you want to add assists to your game and he said ‘to be honest I’m not happy with my assists, I can do more’.
“And you know what, I respect people who talk and then back it up. You can see, the way he plays, is just – when you talk about complete striker.
“Patrick Kluivert was complete as a striker, he could do it all. Kane can do it all. He can come in midfield and ping a ball to a winger, get the ball off a holding midfielder and play through the line.
“The only thing I would say to the big man is what about your free-kicks! Joking aside, I always have a lot of respect for strikers who understand that assists are important.”

By the time Kane left Spurs over the summer, he was arguably among the best passers in the Premier League, alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes.
Kane hasn’t exactly got off to an ideal start to life at Bayern Munich, despite excelling individually this season.
Bayern currently sit 10 points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, even though Kane has netted 31 goals in 32 games this term.
He’s continued to create in Munich though, having registered eight assists for the Bundesliga giants already.
