Still, unless Tottenham are willing to part with £100 million, it will be a fruitless pursuit for the North Londoners, and they’re going to have to up the ante.
Tonali would instantly become Tottenham’s best midfielder if he signs, and if Arsenal and Manchester City can be pipped to the post, it would be a serious statement of intent made by the club.
