Cristian Romero has been speaking with the Argentine press about Tottenham’s situation during the international break.
The 27-year-old is really not happy with what is happening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and he insists he is working to help resolve it.
Speaking to Diario Ole, Romero said: “Well, the truth is, I’m not exactly having the best time there, and that’s all. I need to get myself together, focus on the club now, get my head around Tottenham.
“This is tomorrow, trying to get out of this bad situation we’re in, and as always, give my all in every training session and every match, and let’s try to pull through.”
Spurs’ next Premier League fixture after the break is an away trip to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland.
The Black Cats are coming off the high of an impressive win at St James’ Park in the Tyne-Wear derby and will likely be a tough opponent.
De Zerbi needs to find a quick solution to Spurs’ struggles and will not have much time to get his ideas across to his new group of players.

Hopefully, the Italian head coach can keep Spurs in the Premier League and deliver on his promise of staying for a long time in North London.
