Heung-Min Son injury message
Tottenham captain Heung-Min Son has eased concerns over an injury to his finger while on international duty. The 31-year-old has joined up with the rest of the South Korea national team for the first time since their AFC Asia Cup exit.
The campaign had its struggles, including a bust up between Son and his teammate Kang-In Lee. The pair have publicly apologised since, explaining the situation, but it did result in the Spurs star injuring his finger and requiring a cast.
Speaking on the issue since, Son has said: “I don’t think you need to write about my finger anymore. It’s not a serious injury that you should be worried about. As my coach told me, ‘A footballer can be missing a finger’.
“I appreciate your concern, but I feel sorry for you because it’s causing so much confusion and it’s hard for me to see [fans] suffering.”

Viktor Gyokeres transfer interest
Tottenham are set to enter the market for a striker in the summer transfer window in hopes of bolstering their squad. Plenty of options have been linked with a switch to Hotspur Way, with the latest being a star making his name in Europe.
That’s Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres, the Swedish forward that has made waves since moving from Coventry City. According to transfer insider Graeme Bailey of HITC Football, Gyokeres is on the radar of Spurs heading into the summer.
They aren’t the only ones though, as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester United are also in the race.

Richarlison Tottenham and Brazil claim
Richarlison has risked the wrath of Tottenham fans over the international break by making a claim over his allegiances to Brazil. The forward has missed a few weeks of action through injury, but recently made his return.
Spurs will be hopeful Richarlison doesn’t pick up another issue, though he has sent a clear message over his time with Brazil. He told the media, ahead of his nation’s clash with England: “He [Brazil manager] came and talked to us eye to eye, and I told him that the national team comes first for me.
“It’s God in heaven and the national team on earth. I passed on that confidence to him.”
