Heung-min Son continues to be Tottenham Hotspur’s main man in the final third.

The South Korean star enjoyed yet another prolific campaign under Ange Postecoglou last time out, ending the season with 17 Premier League goals to his name.

While Heung-min Son may have lost a yard of pace in recent years, his deadliness in front of goal remains elite.

The 31-year-old’s 27-goal involvements last season look set to earn him a contract extension and play a key role as club captain under Postecoglou moving forward.

A number of attributes make Son such a difficult player to defend against, including his movement and finishing. But one of his biggest assets is undoubtedly his ability to use both feet to equal effect.

And according to statistics site Opta, Son stands alone when it comes to scoring goals with his weaker foot in the Premier League.

Son’s impressive weak-footed Premier League record

Tottenham fans will be more than aware of Son’s ability to find the back of the net with either foot. It’s arguably what has helped him become such a reliable goalscorer for Spurs over the years.

Since Opta started recording data in the Premier League 15 years ago, no player has managed more weak-footed goals than the Tottenham skipper.

After arriving at Hotspur Way back in 2015, Son has netted 46 times with his left foot, with the other 74 coming on his stronger side.

Son’s overall Premier League record for Tottenham

Son is well on his way to reaching 150 Premier League goals for Tottenham and you’d imagine he will hit that landmark within a couple of years.

His numbers reflect just how important he has been for Spurs over the past nine years and will continue to be a key man for Postecoglou.
