Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson has revealed how impressed he has been with Heung-min Son both on and off the pitch.
We leapfrogged Aston Villa into the top four on the weekend following the victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
And it was the partnership of Johnson and Son which combined to score the winning goal in front of the south stand.

Son’s been ‘unbelievable’ to Johnson
It is no secret that the £22m South Korean captain has become one of the best in recent years in the Premier League.
However, it seems he has also taken to life as a captain like a duck to water with stories already surfacing about his actions off the pitch.
And it appears there may now be another one to add to the growing pile with Johnson sharing how much of an influence his captain has been through his first months at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Speaking to NBC Sports following the game on Saturday, the Welshman said: “He’s [Son] been unbelievable with me. Playing in a similar position, he understands the pressures that come with it. When I’ve had some tough times, he always speaks to me, he always puts an arm round me and keeps me going. He just wants the best for me and when I scored the goal I was so happy.
“He’s a world-class player. I don’t think he needs me to tell anyone how good he is, he’s been showing it for the last 10 years at Tottenham. Everyone knows how good a player he is playing off both feet.”

Johnson showing his worth
Considering how much the young forward cost, we hope there is still a lot more to come from Johnson in a Spurs shirt.
However, his influence over the past few weeks is certainly a positive indication that he is trending in the right direction.
Of course, we would’ve loved to see him hit the ground running and compete with the likes of Son for double figure returns this season.
But we only have to look at Richarlison and remember that it can take players time to adapt to their new surroundings.
Now Son is back from the Asian Cup, the competition for the starting spots on the wings is heating up with Timo Werner and Dejan Kulusevski also competing for their places under Ange Postecoglou.
Yes, it may provide the Australian with a selection headache, but this is what fans have wanted for a long time.
And having that competition may just squeeze the best out of the likes of Johnson who has now returned four goal contributions in his last seven league games.
