Chris Sutton has been stunned by Igor Tudor’s comments on the ‘bad habits’ being taught to this Tottenham Hotspur side by Thomas Frank.
Over the years, Tottenham have had a number of managers who have not bitten their tongue, with Sutton getting it all wrong about Tudor’s comments.
An urgent change was needed in north London as Frank had the Lilywhites sleepwalking towards relegation.

What Igor Tudor said about Tottenham’s bad habits under Thomas Frank
The North London Derby was a baptism of fire for the interim Tottenham boss, with the Croatian witnessing first hand just how big of a task he has taken on.
Ian Wright slammed Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven for ignoring Tudor, which saw the 47-year-old highlight the issues he has inherited.
“Of course, I am confident [of survival]. I believe these are good players with bad habits,” Tudor told the media after the game on Sunday.

“Nobody can tell me we don’t have quality. But we need to change a mental switch and have this mental sharpness to be in the game from the first minutes and also the physicality to do this.”

Tottenham are currently showing worse form than bottom-of-the-league Wolves, who were able to add three points to their tally on Friday.
Ahead of Tottenham’s game at Craven Cottage, Sutton picked apart Tudor’s comments after the Arsenal loss.
“I thought it was an astonishing attack on Thomas Frank, because by saying Spurs’ players are “a good group with bad habits”, Tudor is totally blaming him for everything,” Sutton told BBC Sport.

Spurs have a squad with multiple players worth over £50m and yet they are battling relegation as the likes of Brentford and Sunderland sit head and shoulders ahead of them in the table.
Everyone at this club including the hierarchy and the players need to be told the harsh reality of the position they find themselves in.
Gareth Southgate has defended Frank on the back of his Spurs sacking.
But if Tudor needs to give Tottenham a public wake-up call through his comments in the media, then that’s what the Croatian needs to do to keep the club up.

“To be physical, you need to work hard, otherwise it’s a problem. Too many players had problems. That’s the result,” said Tudor.
The Spurs boss has already put his players to work as the club released footage of the players undergoing pre-season-like fitness work back at Hotspur Way.
Since landing in north London, it seems as if Tudor has his concerns about Tottenham’s physicality, with fitness issues clearly a worry.
Only 11 games remain ahead of Spurs to salvage their Premier League status for another season and it is clear Tudor has brought a regimented approach to his task in N17.
