Fraser Forster has shared what Ange Postecoglou told his Tottenham Hotspur players right after joining over the summer.
The Aussie has made quite the impact in north London after joining from Celtic back in June.
Ange Postecoglou was far from the favoured choice among supporters but his style of football and charismatic personality has quickly won over the Tottenham faithful.

He’s galvanised the Tottenham supporters and despite walking into a bit of a mess over the summer, he has the north Londoners in with a real chance of a top-four finish.
Fraser Forster has been speaking on That Peter Crouch Podcast about Postecoglou’s impact at Spurs and shared some interesting details about his early days at the club.
What Ange said to his Tottenham players right after joining
Forster admitted that Postecoglou prioritised creating a ‘family’ atmosphere at the club in the early stages of his reign.
“I think the big thing when he first came in was you need to be a family,” the Spurs goalkeeper said.
“You need to think of each other as family. So say in a game, something happens to him, he’s a family member. Whereas if you’re strangers, ‘he can sort it out’. He wants everyone to be so close and so together.
“He keeps coming back to that, like that’s the standard. If you’re going to press, you’ll press together.
“So basically he brought everyone into a little group and everyone’s brought into it. That’s been the big thing.”

Postecoglou has been a breath of fresh air and he’s certainly united the fanbase and players.
That was something which was lacking under previous managers, with the likes of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho dividing opinion among supporters.
When you consider the fact that Postecoglou lost the club’s best player of the Premier League era, Harry Kane, just a few months back, it makes the job he’s done so far look all the more remarkable.
Of course, Spurs still have a long way to go under the Aussie’s guidance if they wish to compete for the biggest honours.
But the early signs under Postecoglou have been encouraging to say the least and he’s created a unity at Spurs which has been missing since Mauricio Pochettino’s departure in 2019.
