Tottenham are busy trying to bring players to the club as the clock ticks towards the transfer deadline.
Spurs have signed Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid so far, with Brazilian left-back Souza signing with one eye on the future.
Fill in the blank: If Tottenham only sign James Wilson deadline day I will feel _________
Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank would dearly love some attacking flair but it looks as though a stellar recruit is now off the table.
Tottenham aren’t going to take their eye off the future, however, and the club are set to beat fierce rivals Arsenal to a new signing.

Tottenham beat Arsenal to sign James Wilson
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are set to sign Wilson ahead of Arsenal after the North Londoners gate-crashed their rivals.
Wilson has reportedly been convinced by the project at Tottenham and the 18-year-old will now travel to the capital.
Arsenal were offering Wilson a trial at the Emirates Stadium but Tottenham coming straight in with a loan deal with buy option has convinced him to snub the Gunners.
It’s believed the medical is happening right now and confirmation is expected prior to the window slamming shut in a short while.
Wilson can be solid signing for Tottenham
This isn’t going to be a signing for the first team at this stage but it’s nice to see the club keeping one eye on the future.
Wilson has a Scotland cap to his name at 18-years-old and some strong form with the Tottenham under-21s might earn him a World Cup spot.
The teenager has scored twice in the League Cup this season and been subbed on in Scottish Premiership matches on six occasions.
What business do Tottenham need to complete on Transfer Deadline Day?

Wilson’s form for the B-Team prior to making the leap to the senior ranks was superb, with 19 goals coming from just 38 appearances.
It remains to be seen what role Wilson will take on at Tottenham but this does feel like a good move, especially considering Arsenal seemed so close to landing him.
