Fabio Paratici is due to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of January, but first, he will be assisting the club during the current transfer window.

Paratici made a shock return to Spurs back in October; however, the Italian director is already making a swift exit just 88 days on.

The 53-year-old was banned by FIFA for 30 months for financial irregularities during his time at Juventus.

Paratici is now set to depart the North London club once again for Fiorentina, but before he does, he still has work to do in N17.

Fabio Paratici will help Tottenham in January

Fabio Paratici will be helping Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, despite his impending departure at the end of the month, according to The Athletic.

The report claims that ‘personal reasons’ are behind his decision to leave just over two months after re-joining the club.

His first piece of business is to help Tottenham win the race to sign Souza from Santos, with the Brazilian signing as another left-back option for Thomas Frank.

Fill in the blank: Souza will be a _______________ signing for Tottenham….

Another signing for the future or will he have an immediate impact?

The Italian has brought many exciting players to Spurs during his time, including Cristian Romero, Dejan Kulusevski and Pedro Porro.

The North London club will be hoping that he can deliver a few more surprise signings before heading back to his home country.

Tottenham have also been linked with wingers this month, especially after Mohammed Kudus’ injury and Brennan Johnson’s sale to Crystal Palace.

It needs to be a busy month for Spurs for Frank to stand any chance of succeeding, with the Dane’s squad already down to bare bones.

Paratici infamously signed Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur back in January 2022, which revitalised the team’s season and helped them secure Champions League football under Antonio Conte.

He must now do a similar job in his final transfer window at Spurs to help the team get back on track under their new manager.

Radu Dragusin’s sale could be another Fabio Paratici job

Paratici also appears to be working on player sales at Tottenham, with several Italian clubs keen on signing Radu Dragusin.

Right now, Tottenham want to keep Dragusin to ensure they still have four central defenders for the rest of the season, reports Orazio Accomando.

Dragusin hasn’t been a great signing for Tottenham following his two-year spell, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him eventually offloaded for the right offer.
