Ange Postecoglou worked his magic once again with Spurs over the weekend, as they ran out 2-1 victors over Crystal Palace.

Spurs show absolutely no sign of slowing down. Their unbeaten streak continues and their plethora of immense talent continues to shine through.

James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Son Heung-Min, Yves Bissouma and so many more have all been excellent.

But one player who doesn’t necessarily get all the plaudits is £25m summer singing Dejan Kulusevski. He’s a consistent workhorse, who has previously been lauded by his manager.

Dejan Kulusevski praises Ange Postecoglou

The Swedish winger was brought in permanently this summer after some massively successful loan spells. However, under a new manager, it was unknown what the relationship would be between the pair.

But, thanks to Dejan giving his thoughts, it appears the bond the two have already is brilliant.

“Postecoglou, an excellent manager. He speaks about life stories, not just football. It was clear already in pre-season, training sessions under Ange are funny and we work a lot with the ball, and we press a lot. But also, we learn from him. We’re really enjoying.”

Postecoglou appreciates Kulusevski

It appears the feelings are mutual, the Aussie is seriously glad he pulled the trigger to bring in the 23-year-old over the summer.

“That’s the thing with Deki, he’s going to give you everything and more. And he does that every week,” he told Spurs Play following the Luton victory.

“That doesn’t go unnoticed by the group and what we do. I think sometimes externally, because he’s a winger, people look at other aspects of his game. But just the sheer work rate that he puts in for the team, and the selfless running that he does.”

The winger gives his all for the club and is exactly the player Big Ange wants on board. Were lucky to have them – both.
