One of Ange Postecoglou’s former Tottenham Hotspur players has been discussing why he believes the Spurs boss will eventually succeed in North London.
Postecoglou is under a bit of pressure to turn his team’s form around with Tottenham currently sitting tenth in the Premier League. The Lilywhites handed Ipswich Town their first Premier League since 2002 just before the international break and missed the chance to go third.
But one of the players the Australian manager sold last summer claims that he remains the right man for the job at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tanganga backs Postecoglou to succeed at Tottenham
Japhet Tanganga has revealed how Postecoglou was very different in training than he was on a matchday and how he is backing the 59-year-old to eventually be a success.
The former academy star claims that Postecoglou would often be quite elusive during training, but when it came to matchday, his presence was certainly felt by the team.
Tanganga told SportsBoom: “I think he’s a very good coach, a very good manager. I feel like he’s the right man for the job at the moment. I did pre-season with Ange and that’s when I left to go out on loan with Millwall last season. He was very good. In my opinion, I was very impressed by what I saw during my time with him and the way he wanted his team to play.
“In training, he wasn’t the most vocal. He was observant and liked to watch, but when it came to matchday you could really hear and feel his presence. That’s what stuck out for me from the friendly games I participated in.”
How is Japhet Tanganga doing at Millwall?
Tanganga is already a fans’ favourite at The Den with his performances for Millwall making him one of the best defenders in the league.
The 25-year-old has been helping The Lions in their push for the playoffs with Neil Harris’ side are currently sat two points outside the top six.
