Tottenham star praise
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou was left impressed with one of his stars following the draw with West Ham. The Lilywhites scored early in the tie, but failed to make it count as they were forced to settle for a point.
Following the clash, Postecoglou discussed the performance of Yves Bissouma, telling the media, via Football London: “I thought tonight especially in our general play, our build-up and our organisation. I thought Biss [Yves Bissouma] was outstanding tonight and the back four handled.
“Look at their front four and they’ll cause any team problems. I thought there was a better structural maturity in our game tonight than say like against Fulham so for me that’s progress.”

Alan Brazil Tottenham claim
Former Tottenham forward Alan Brazil has claimed that James Maddison is currently the best player at the north London club. It comes as the playmaker has enjoyed a decent start to life with Spurs, which has been disrupted by injuries in the middle.
Speaking on TalkSPORT about Maddison’s substitution against West Ham, he said: “I was shocked as well. It had to be one of the wide players for me, but it wasn’t.
“I’m terrible me, I’m old fashioned, if your two wide players aren’t beating the full-backs regularly I think it’s a waste. You tell me how many times did the wide players beat the full-backs, for the goal yes, but apart from that the second half, nothing. Maddison is their best player!”
