According to the Daily Mail, Guehi seen a knee specialist in London and has since had to undergo surgery.

A complication was diagnosed with the injury he picked up at the beginning of the month and has put his recovery time way back.

Guehi is now expected to return over the next six to eight weeks as he will require significant recovery following surgery.

Tottenham hold Guehi interest

Tottenham will be unable to scout one of their believed transfer targets ahead of the summer now on the weekend.

Guehi is said to be a player who has been on the Tottenham radar as Ange Postecoglou looks to continue adding to his defence.

The centre-back had been a big target for Fabio Paratici, but he is believed to be valued in the region of £60m by Palace.

He is not the only Palace player who Spurs are believed to have their eye on, though.

It has recently been reported that the Lilywhites have earmarked Eberechi Eze as one of their main targets for the summer alongside Pedro neto.

He is a player who will likely be on display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday after Palace received an injury boost this week.
