Cristian Romero has revealed that his priority is focusing on Spurs’ current situation in the Premier League after being asked about a transfer.

Speaking about his future, Romero said, as relayed by Fabrizio Romano: “My focus is on Spurs and trying to help in this bad situation.

Speaking ahead of the second leg, Simeone told the media: “I speak from a point of view as an Argentina fan.
“I admire his personality, his character, his defensive work and his football ability on the ball. I have seen him play more games for the national team than I have for Spurs, but I’m a big fan of him.”
Simeone and Atletico are likely to be the biggest threat to Spurs in terms of taking Romero off their hands in the summer.
