Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson had a memorable night on Friday as he extended his impressive scoring streak for club and country.
Just a few weeks ago, the Spurs star seemingly deactivated his Instagram account in wake of vitriol being sent his way online.
Since then, Johnson has embarked on a scoring streak which now stretches to seven consecutive games.
The Tottenham ace struck in the 11th minute of Wales’ Nations League game against Iceland on Friday night.
Johnson pounced from close range to fire home after Harry Wilson’s initial shot was saved.
Needless to say, the internet absolutely loved seeing the Spurs and Dragons ace extend his scoring streak.
Johnson has now scored against Coventry, Brentford, Qarabag, Manchester United, Ferencvaros, Brighton and Iceland.
Here is what some of the biggest football accounts on X said about Johnson’s latest consecutive goal in the 2-2 draw in Reykjavik.

However, it wasn’t all great news for Johnson, who picked up a knock and also got suspended for Wales’ next match.
He was booked for a spat with Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson – who also received a yellow card – shortly after Wilson made it 2-0 to Wales.
Manager Craig Bellamy took Johnson off at half-time and told BBC Sport after the game: “It was a precaution. He took a kick.
“He did feel something from impact so we’ll get him checked out.”
With Johnson unable to play any part in the Montenegro game due to suspension, it seems like there’s a good chance he’ll leave the Wales training camp and return to Hotspur Way.
