Ange Postecoglou must be absolutely thrilled with the squad he’s inherited at Tottenham Hotspur at the moment.
Spurs are giving 110% every week. The likes of James Maddison, Son Heung-Min, Micky van de Ven and so many more are playing out of their skin.
This is reflected in the fact that the North London side sits pretty at the top of the Premier League. A hard-grafted win at Luton Town was the latest victory for Postecoglou‘s men.
Despite the opposition, Spurs had to work harder than ever before thanks to a Yves Bissouma dismissal, but they did just that and reaped the rewards.

Postecoglou has high praise for unsung hero
A plethora of strong performances overshadowed the work of one man, Dejan Kulusevski.
The £25m star wasn’t too involved in the game’s pivotal moments – but arguably worked harder than anybody else on the pitch. This wasn’t unnoticed by the gaffer.
“That’s the thing with Deki, he’s going to give you everything and more. And he does that every week,” he told Spurs Play.
“That doesn’t go unnoticed by the group and what we do. I think sometimes externally, because he’s a winger, people look at other aspects of his game. But just the sheer work rate that he puts in for the team, and the selfless running that he does.
“He had to do the running of two men today. And I’d be surprised if he hasn’t cracked some records in terms of his running. We needed that and he gave that.”
He was immense and it’s great to see this wasn’t overlooked.

Great to see from a fan’s perspective
This is yet another thing that is so good to see from Postecoglou.
The full-time plaudits could have easily been given to van de Ven, but the Aussie insisted on speaking about players like Deki who weren’t necessarily involved in ‘highlight’ moments.
He appreciates the hard work of the entirety of the squad, which will in turn be greatly appreciated by the players.
There’s such a good thing going on at Tottenham at the moment. May it continue!
