Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven is back in training.
Micky van de Ven has been ruled out since early November after picking up a hamstring injury in the 4-1 defeat to Chelsea.
The Dutchman had made an instant impact after completing a switch to north London from Wolfsburg over the summer.

He was part of a side which hadn’t tasted defeat in their opening 10 Premier League games before Ange Postecoglou’s squad was impacted heavily by injuries and suspensions.
And after missing the last nine league games, it seems that Van de Ven is edging closer to a return to action.
Postecoglou confirms Van de Ven is back in training
Speaking ahead of Tottenham’s FA Cup third-round clash against Burnley tomorrow, Postecoglou confirmed that Van de Ven has been back amongst the group at Hotspur Way.
“Micky van Ven is training with us this week, which is good. He’s got through 3 sessions. Not sure about tomorrow, whether he’ll be involved yet.” as quoted by The Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick.
Having Van de Ven back is certainly a timely boost for Postecoglou. Cristian Romero is facing a few weeks on the sidelines after also picking up a hamstring injury against Everton last month.
It remains unclear when the Argentine will return. But Postecoglou has been alarmingly short of options in central defence.

Of course, Spurs are currently working on a deal to sign a new centre-back as they remain in talks with Genoa over Radu Dragusin.
But Van de Ven will be expected to return to the starting XI, with Postecoglou currently using Ben Davies and Emerson Royal as makeshift centre-backs.
The 22-year-old is vital to the way Tottenham play as his ‘incredible‘ recovery pace provides Postecoglou’s side with extra security at the back.
While Burnley may come too soon for the Dutchman, it would be brilliant to see him back in the side for next week’s trip to Old Trafford.
