Giovani Lo Celso is reportedly targeting a return to action for Tottenham Hotspur against Brentford next week.
The Argentine missed out on the trip to Old Trafford last time out after picking up a minor muscle injury in the FA Cup third-round win over Burnley.
Lo Celso has featured regularly for Spurs in James Maddison’s absence, helping to fill the creative void left by the Englishman.

Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to welcome Maddison back within the next week after the midfielder returned to full training last week.
The Aussie could be further boosted by the return of Lo Celso, with the Argentine eyeing next Wednesday’s clash against Brentford as a possible comeback date.
Lo Celso targeting Tottenham return against Brentford
The Evening Standard reports that Friday’s FA Cup clash against Manchester City will come too soon for Lo Celso.
However, the midfielder is eyeing a return to action against Brentford next week.
It’s also noted that Maddison is hoping to be ready for Friday’s clash against City.

Postecoglou hasn’t exactly had the rub of the green when it comes to injuries this term. But it would be a welcome boost for the Aussie if Maddison and Lo Celso return within the same week.
Spurs are short of options in the middle of the park at the moment, with Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma currently at AFCON 2024. The duo are expected to return by mid-February but Tottenham face two crucial clashes beforehand.
Lo Celso performed well in Maddison’s absence, registering two goals and as many assists in eight Premier League games.
The £27 million man is unlikely to be first-choice once Maddison returns to full fitness. But it will be a welcome headache for Postecoglou to have various options to choose from once again.
