Tottenham are having a strong start to the Premier League this season but some players are walking on a tightrope as they are getting closer to a possible suspension. Here are the players close to being suspended at the club.

The win for Tottenham against Fulham saw the club remain at the top of the Premier League, with seven wins and two draws in their first nine matches.

It has been a great start for manager Ange Postecoglou and summer signings like James Maddison, who was named the player of the match against Fulham, have seen Spurs loving life right now.

This could all change though if they lose a couple of key players for certain matches in the division. With this in mind, here are the Tottenham players close to a suspension.

Are any Spurs players suspended for the Crystal Palace match?

Manager Ange Postecoglou will be happy as there are no players in the Tottenham squad suspended for the Crystal Palace match. Yves Bissouma had received a suspension for his sending off against Luton but he is now back and available for selection.

Are any Tottenham players close to being suspended in the Premier League?

Sadly there are a couple of players in the Spurs squad close to picking up a suspension in the Premier League this season. Pierre-Emilie Hojbjerg and Destiny Udogie are on three yellow cards at this current time. Pick up a couple more yellow cards and they could miss important clashes against Wolves and Villa in the near future.

Meanwhile, the player closest to a suspension is Yves Bissouma. Despite only recently being suspended, the player could be suspended again. This is because he is currently on four yellow cards and his two yellow cards against Luton were cancelled because he received a red card. The ‘incredible‘ 27 year-old is a key player this season so another suspension would be a huge miss. He could miss the Chelsea or Wolves if he isn’t careful.
