Tottenham Hotspur have been hit with a ludicrous amount of injuries this season.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side have been somewhat cursed with multiple injury issues coming out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.

Star-men James Maddison, Micky van de Ven and so many more have all been in the medical tent at some point on Hotspur Way.

It appears one more is also now among them, with Postecgolou confirming a fresh injury woe for Spurs today.

Ange Postecoglou confirms Cristian Romero injury

Terrible news for Tottenham fans emerged from Postecoglou’s press conference today, with the Aussie manager confirming Argentine centre-back Cristian Romero would be out for ‘four to five weeks’.

‘Not so great with Romero. He had a scan and he’s got a hamstring strain. We’re looking at four to five weeks with him,’ he said.

He joins a lengthy list of injury absentees at Spurs, including:

Postecoglou hasn’t had the best of luck this season. This injury issue is made all the more untimely given the tough run of fixtures coming up.

What games will Cristian Romero miss for Tottenham Hotspur?

With Postecoglou confirming the injury will be around ‘four to five weeks’, here are the games over the next five weeks that the £42.5m man will likely be out for.

Romero misses four extremely tough Premier League games in a row, whilst also missing out on the FA Cup clash against Burnley, which could be crucial in Tottenham’s search for an elusive trophy this season.
