Tottenham Hotspur kick off their Carabao Cup campaign away on Coventry City and will be looking to put their North London derby defeat behind them.
Ange Postecoglou will also be hoping to avoid a repeat of last season when his Spurs side were eliminated in the second round against Fulham.
The Aussie coach rang the changes at Craven Cottage which cost him as his side were beaten on penalties and we saw his first falter as Tottenham boss.
The North London club’s supporters are craving a cup run and he cannot afford to make the same mistake with an early elimination.
For the trip to the West Midlands, Postecoglou is still expected to make plenty of changes, although this year, he has many exciting young talents at his disposal.

Ange Postecoglou set to make eight changes vs Coventry
Postecoglou is set to make up to eight changes for Tottenham’s Carabao Cup clash with Coventry, according to Alasdair Gold on YouTube.
The 59-year-old revealed after the Arsenal game that it would be a chance for the younger players and the squad to show their worth.
Postecoglou has challenged the fringe players to step up and push the players who started against the Gunners for their spots in the line-up.
Gold believes Radu Dragusin must start and hopes Micky van de Ven plays alongside him. Djed Spence and Ben Davies could both come in as the full-backs.
There could be complete change in midfield with Pape Matar Sarr, Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray forming a very young trio in the middle.
Meanwhile, in attack, Dominic Solanke could keep his place whilst Wilson Odobert and Timo Werner play on the wings. Mikey Moore is set to feature from the bench.
Possible Tottenham line-up vs Coventry: Forster; Spence, Dragusin, Van de Ven, Davies; Sarr, Gray, Bergvall; Odobert, Werner, Solanke.
Tottenham boast an exciting, young core
There isn’t much to get particularly excited about at Tottenham at the moment, however, they do have an exciting, young core of players.
These early round cup matches and the Europa League presents Postecoglou with an opportunity to give them much-needed game time.
Gray, Bergvall, and Sarr are all very talented and could form the future midfield for the North London club. Meanwhile, Moore is the jewel of their academy and aged just 17 years old, he could make an impact, even this season.
