Alan Shearer believes Richarlison could become a ‘different player’ for Tottenham Hotspur after his match-winning display against Sheffield United.
Richarlison came off the bench against the Blades in the 80th minute on Saturday as Spurs were trailing 1-0 and facing defeat.
The 26-year-old netted a well-taken header in the 96th minute before setting up Dejan Kulusevski for the winner just two minutes later.

The Brazil star was struggling for form and confidence in front of goal beforehand.
Indeed, Richarlison was spotted in tears on the bench after being substituted during Brazil’s clash against Bolivia during the international break.
He’s since opened up on his struggles off the pitch over the past year but will be hoping to kick on after a brilliant performance over the weekend.
Now, Alan Shearer has singled out Richarlison for praise and has suggested he could be about to explode in a Spurs shirt.
Shearer on Richarlison
Speaking on The Rest Is Football, Shearer delivered his verdict on Richarlison’s display for Spurs on Saturday.
“Don’t be surprised if you see a different player now in that Tottenham shirt,” the pundit said. “We were saying about responsibility now that the main man has gone in Harry.
“Others have to step up and people were looking at him to step up. He came in on Saturday, he scored the goal, set up the winner, that will do his confidence the world of good.
“You’re probably going to see a different person and a different player going forward. That one goal could free him all up and don’t be surprised if you see a few more now.”

The Spurs News View
It’s fair to say that Richarlison has endured a difficult first year at Spurs.
The Brazil star managed just one Premier League goal last season and struggled at the start of the current campaign.
He’s proven to be an effective player in the Premier League and particularly for Brazil.
It would only benefit Tottenham and Postecoglou to get Richarlison back to his best and they will certainly be hoping Saturday’s display helps to kickstart his Spurs career.
